Art as inquiry
Work that asks questions, not just makes things.
About
Spiritual Cabaret Lab brings artists, educators, and community members together through workshops, talks, and public programs. We believe creative work is something people do together, not just observe.
Programs are free or low-cost, open to all skill levels, and built to welcome people who might not already think of themselves as part of an arts community.
Land Acknowledgment
Spiritual Cabaret Lab operates on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, and the Huron-Wendat. This territory is covered by Treaty 13 (the Toronto Purchase) with the Mississaugas of the Credit. Toronto is also home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
Our Team
A porcelain sculptor creating deeply emotional, immersive worlds. A performer and composer shaping original sonic experiences. A nuclear physicist turned art historian, connecting science, culture, and meaning. And a technologist with an engineering background, translating ideas into systems and possibilities.
Four different practices brought together to create programs that are thoughtful, human, and grounded in real-world experience.
